Hey guys! in today's lesson, I wanna share with you how to be funky when you play on the ride cymbal. This basic concept can be instantly applied in your playing even if you are a beginner funk drummer!
This groove has a cool syncopated pattern to play on the kick drum and some funky ghost notes on the snare drum as well.
It's an interesting groove that will help also with your coordination between your right and left hand!
